Bet You Didn’t Know: Eason and his fellow recruit, Ben Cleveland, committed to Georgia together in a unique way. They were at a recruiting dinner with Mark Richt and the coaching staff when Cleveland abruptly stood up and announced, 'Jacob and I would like to verbally commit to the University of Georgia.' Eason said, “Before I could even send the text, Ben stands up and commits for both of us. It was an awesome moment.'"

Jacob Eason is a former 5-Star recruit and was the #1 quarterback in the nation in the class of 2016. After starting as a true freshman at the University of Georgia and injuring his LCL his sophomore year, Eason transferred to the University of Washington in 2018. There, he threw for well over 3,000 yards in the 2019 season before declaring for the 2020 NFL draft, where he was selected in the fourth round by the Indianapolis Colts. He is currently an NFL free agent.
